I’m happy to announce that the introduction to my first book, depicted here, will be written by one of my heroes. The introduction to the first volume of my short stories will be authored by the world‘s foremost literary scholar in my judgment. The professor, like me, is an Objectivist—a thinker whom I know firsthand practices what Ayn Rand described as the trader principle—and an American, parent, colleague, mentor, paid subscriber to my fiction and non-fiction media and a longtime friend.
The one introducing my new book taught me the value, biography and inspired story of one of my favorite writers, O. Henry, in class. This person is both a champion of romantic realism in art and literature and a patron of my articles and short stories. Indeed, the individual introducing my first book has read each of my selected stories and often teaches me something new. This author has previously written introductions to books by my favorite authors, including Victor Hugo and Ayn Rand.
I am honored that mine’s the first book by a living author introduced by this new—and daring—intellectual, Shoshana Joy Milgram.
